I am not usually motivated to write reviews, but I know how difficult and a bit scary it can be to find a auto repair garage you feel you can really trust. Two people had recommended Hotchkiss to me, so I felt reassured to start with. They were wonderful. I go back and forth between Denver and the Mountains a lot. My jeep started shaking in idle and I was worried to drive it up to the mountain. I needed to drive up in a few days. The dealer I often go to said they couldn't get me in for TWO WEEKS - even though I told them I thought my car had a potentially serious issue that might soon make it undriveable. Tony at Hotchkiss got me in the day after I called. Was very clear along the way about costs. The garage diagnosed and made repairs all in one day! I also just love the physical aspects of the garage. It's a beautiful building (when do you ever say that about an auto repair garage) and they have a very homey waiting area. The few people I dealt with were friendly and courteous.

I can't recommend Hotchkiss more! They are so friendly and communicative. I took my car in due to a broken starter and they had it repaired in a day. They offered other maintenance and services that needed to be done but were never pushy about additional services.

We have had great experiences with Hotchkiss and we trust them. Once I had a break light out and I took it to the dealer. The dealer called and said that the whole back gate had to be replaced and it had to be done right away because I would have no break lights until it was completed. They needed to keep my car all week to get it done and it would cost over $500. I reluctantly had the work done, got my car back and the first time I drove it a family member pointed out that I had a break light out. I took the car to Hotchkiss. They took a look, replaced the light that was out and charged me a whopping $25. This is just one example of why I trust Hotchkiss. I have never felt like a single repair that they suggested was unnecessary. They are professional and stand by their work. I would feel comfortable referring them to my friends and family, and to you.

They are exactly what you want from any service provider. Honest, fast, explanations for everything done and for me the most important is personality. Their sense of humor is awesome!! I've tried a couple of other shops and although they got the job done it was just business. With Hotchkiss its personal. When I'm spending thousands of dollars i need a reason to smile.. We need that to come back to society. Thanks guys, and especially the ladies who seem to do and know the most. Hmm, just like at home. You all are seriously the best.

Have been bringing our vehicles to Hotchkiss for 15 years. Always have good experiences and can rely on Hotchkiss for an honest assessment of what is best for our vehicle and us. Recently Hotchkiss noticed a leak in our timing case cover just as our vehicle went out of warranty coverage on the drive train. They sent us to the dealer to see if we could get Ford to help us out. They cared about us not just their bottom line. Ford came through for us and contributed to the repair. Thanks Hotchkiss. That type of customer first service will keep us coming back and sharing our feelings around town.
