Always a great experience here. Thorough and take time to explain what’s going on, and very reasonably priced. They flagged an issue that needed to be fixed, but recommended that I get it done at the dealer since it was under warranty to save money.

HotchKiss auto repair is great! They did a phenomenal job at not throwing tons of money at our vehicles for no reason until they actually solved the problem. Which I appreciate. I am not a fan of shops that think something or wrong but not sure and run up your bill. This isn’t a place that does that. Also Jasmine was great to work with, kept me updated on my vehicle, and texted and called to make sure I had all the status updates. I appreciate that they offer after hour drop off and lock your vehicle in behind their gate if it’s over night. If you are looking for a trustworthy repair shop, I highly recommend hotchkiss auto repair.

I brought my truck here because of the 4.8 star Google rating. Even with high expectations, they went above and beyond. The whole process was painless and streamlined. I had a real problem with squirrels eating my wires. After having my wires repaired, the squirrels ate my wires again within 24 hours. The team at hotchkiss fixed my wires again and covered almost all of it under warranty. They really didn't have to do that. Instant customer for life.

They got the job done quickly without cutting any corners, and I really appreciated how reliable and professional they were throughout the entire process. Hotchkiss is one of the best shops I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. They are honest, thorough and do excellent work. The staff takes the time to understand the root of the problem, present you with real options and doesn’t try to push unnecessary maintenance/fixes. I highly recommend them.

Set an appointment for a diagnostic for $87 and got nothing done. Dropped off at 8:10 am and received a text after 7 hours that they were short staffed and unable to get to my car, to try again the next day. I told Richard I didn’t plan on taking Ubers 2 days in a row to work and back, he let me know he “didn’t plan on being behind either.” All that was offered was to reschedule but I’m not too confident it would get done then either so I’d rather not waste more time.

Edit: not a good first experience but Cody reached out the next day and was working very hard to win me back. Turns out the car WAS diagnosed in the end, just a lot of miscommunication. It sucks that all of this could’ve been avoided, and I’m leaving my original review for Richard, but I gotta give props where props are due and Cody worked really hard to turn the experience around this last week!
