That belief is now backed by a new initiative called the Core Values Recognition Program, created to celebrate employees who bring our values to life through their everyday work.
The Values We Live By

These values guide how we hire, how we lead, and how we treat each other and our customers. Now we have a program built to recognize the people who live them out best.
How the Program Works
Each month, managers and employees across each of our Relay Hill Auto locations can nominate a coworker who they believe embodies our core values. Maybe it is a technician who went above and beyond for a customer. Maybe it is an advisor who lifted the team during a hard week. Maybe it is a leader who showed humility while helping someone else grow.
Once nominations come in, our leadership team reviews every submission and narrows the group down to four finalists for the month. From that group, leadership chooses one standout employee to be named the Core Values Culture Champion!
The Championship Belt
Here is where things get fun. Our Culture Champion earns the Championship Belt, a custom trophy designed in the style of a wrestling title belt. It is bold, it is flashy, and it is made to be worn with pride. The Champion keeps the belt for the entire month and displays it at their shop as a reminder of what excellence looks like at Relay Hill Auto.
When the month ends, a new round of nominations begins, and the belt is up for grabs again, ready to be passed to the next employee who steps up in a way that inspires the people around them.
Celebrating the Win
Recognition means more when it happens in front of others. Each new Culture Champion is honored at an awards ceremony, where they are presented with the belt in front of their peers and leadership. It is a chance for the whole team to gather, hear the story behind the nomination, and celebrate someone who made a real impact.
All four finalists also receive gift cards to their favorite restaurants or outlet stores, a thank you for the excellence they bring to Relay Hill Auto every day. Every nominee is recognized for the difference they make, whether or not they take the belt home.
Why This Matters
Great work happens across our network of shops every single day, and it is easy for it to go unnoticed when teams are spread across so many locations. The Core Values Recognition Program gives that work a stage. It creates a monthly rhythm of storytelling, gratitude, and celebration that connects our entire organization.
Recognition also drives engagement. When employees see their peers celebrated for integrity, hustle, teamwork, growth, and leadership, it reinforces the behaviors we want more of, and it reminds everyone that their contributions matter no matter which shop they work in.
